Canopy reinforced the importance of building secondary architectures (like security proxies) as first-class citizens. By handling infrastructure logic outside the business components, the editor remained clean and performant.

Quantum taught me that the hardest part of a developer tool isn't the tech—it's reducing cognitive load. When you aggregate data well and present it cleanly, developers actually enjoy reviewing their progress.
